Some people have really missed the boat on this one and hope to make up for it, but I have a theory why, and I explain it at the end.
Intel have been promising their customers for the last 4 years that a "recovery" from a little hiccup in 2018 would be coming and to please keep buying their shitty over priced server CPU's.
The BIG, and I mean BIG money is in server farms. Giant multi core chips that run the very Patreon website you are viewing this post on - thousands of them crammed into a large air conditioned room.
Little Jimmy's gaming rig is not what makes the big profits for AMD and Intel.
In 2018 Intel admitted that their premium chips suffered from a major "design flaw". It was dubbed SPECTRE and MELTDOWN. AMD suffered a similar problem but not to the degree Intel did. Intel were forced to instruct their large corporate customers and smaller operations at risk that would have to shut down "hyper threading"on their systems - this cut by half the average users capacity. Corporations losing half their capacity overnight is not a good thing - just to make the point ;-)

The "flaw" was admitted to have been in place since the 2006 Core II Duo design. Co-incidentally, where was that design made? Guess?

Brian Krzanich was gone just over a year after his 2017 hand shake with Benyamin Netanyahu. Later when it was revealed that he had warned the Chinese Communist Party about the Intel chip "flaw" vulnerabilities, before the US government. Yeh, you heard that right - BEFORE telling the US government.
He also profited from the inevitable write down on stock price. He was then allegedly "let go" for having an inappropriate relationship with an Intel employee. Does that ring true for you? Or was she a Chinese spy OR...did he pick her up at an Epstein party? Because THAT is the core issue missed in all the Epstein revelations - these 'sexual compromise rings' were blackmailing industry leaders and CEO's...maybe even the worlds leading chip maker?
The sexual compromise of high level industry executives is never made clear amongst the titillation angle of private jets, Bill Gates and Bill Clinton and most of all, the nobody Prince Andrew. Do you think their headlines were cover for something else?
Krzanich hated Trump and was forced by new Trump administration policies to begin building chip factories in Arizona. Bannon was also instrumental in those decisions.
It was Jewish Hungarian immigrant Andy Grove who was the most vocal high level Intel and tech industry executive to challenge the Kissinger/City of London plot to de-industrialize the United States first of it's manufacturing base, and then it's high technology base. He crowed endlessly from the late 1990's till his death in 2016. Unlike the plethora of "planted" Jewish "rags to riches" agents destroying America from within heading up their fake City of London Foundations, Andrew Grove was a real rags to riches story all the way from Communist Hungary to the board rooms of the highest American corporations. How many of you have ever heard of Andrew Grove - András István Gróf? There is a reason for that.
INTEL 10NM DOESN'T WORK - JIM KELLER:
After the Spectre and Meltdown revelations, it became obvious there was another problem for Intel - their 10nm "monolithic die" process was not working. Public reports stated the machines were producing very low yeilds - %30 - of viable chips from a $20,000USD silicon wafer. Meanwhile, AMD's "chiplet design" was pumping out 8 core 7nm wafers at %90+ yields and stitching them together on the CPU substrate. Intel was known to mock the AMD design stating, "We dont glue our chips together." They're not laughing anymore.
After continual delays for a functioning 10nm design, (due out 2016) Jim Keller was brought in to fix the problem. He walked out of Intel after two years and stated they would have to get their main competitor TSMC to make their chip designs for them.
Veteran chip designer Jim Keller has left Intel after just two years at the firm. Intel said Keller was resigning his position effective immediately due to unspecified “personal reasons.” Keller will serve as a consultant to the company for six months to smooth the transition period, said Intel.
This was akin to Ford motor company being told by their shop floor engineer to get General Motors to build their cars for them. Where was the 10nm Icelake process design implemented? Have a guess...
The above news article was a lie, the chip was still not out and would never come out except in some select server and laptop chips, it was a complete failure. Finally, in June 2022, Intel released their Alderlake 10nm chip with a novel "Big Little" chip design. It ran fast and HOT. But it finally beat AMD Zen III chiplet designs in both single and multi core tasks...though AMD relased the Zen 5800X3D chips a month before with it's special "cache" memory that kept the gaming crown in AMD's favor. But gaming and home desktop is not where the money is, it's in server chips and there Intel is totally thrashed and rapidly losing market share.
AMD THE SERVER KING:
Currently, the AMD 96-core EPYC Genoa is king, with a 128 core EPYC Bergamo due out soon. The best Intel can offer is their XEON line code named Sapphire Rapids with 60 cores and a cost of $17000USD. AMD cost 12,000USD. And their new Bergamo 128 core processor is due out very soon. AMD have grabbed %20 of the server market up from just %5 in 2018 - the disaster date for Intel.
Intel have kept market share for one reason - reluctance for businesses to update critical infrastructure to a new platform in their 4-7 year upgrade cycle - and the fact Intel has offered billions in incentives to it's clients. That has now ended, Intel has no more spare money. They have also failed continually to deliver their products on time and they recently shut down their GPU division, another recent disaster. AMD have been performing beautifully, and after continuing successes, major corporations are prepared to make the big move and all Intel can do is keep promising. "Too big to fail," can only last you do long - note the highlighted article in this post and the stock plummet.
Now Intel are desperately designing chiplet (tile) designs. Nvidia GPU's may suffer the same problem and AMD is the chiplet king in GPU and CPU and 3d Stacked Cache. They could end up dominating.
And now Intel faces competition from Apple server chips and even Amazon has designed it's own dirt chip compute unit CPU's for it's own server farms. Was that just a cost thing? Or a worry about "design flaws"?
Intel can take two things to heart outside of it's continual promises to perform - it IS "so big", it will NEVER go out of business but it could be broken up, it's fabrication plants spun off into a separate company and a whole lotta sackings and ending of departments. And..."it's the military." Maybe DARPA will hand them a bit of tech via Jim Keller?
Intel is in deep trouble. How did it get that way? Incompetence? Arrogance? Sun spot activity? Alien Space Monkey infiltration? Or did Intel Israel get caught doing something it should not?

And besides, when dealing with Bi Bi, when the cookie jar is empty and all crumbs lead to his bedroom door, reputation can comfortably precede direct evidence.
